Children of the Divine Order
The origin of the hunters goes all the way back to the Egyptian period. They gathered up an entire army during that period to destroy the children of the gods. Some of the children had often become corrupt, enjoying a life of luxury on the backs of the common people. The leaders of the hunters however had another agenda the inner core knew of. They were jealous of the power of the children and wanted it for themselves. The children were a threat to their desire for power and so had to be removed.
The leaders of the Hunters failed in their primary goal: the eliminate of all the children of the gods. They did however acquire power for themselves as their group took the reigns of power for all of Egypt, though that in turn started it’s own power struggle. While the original leaders fought among themselves for power, the elite hunters they had created took over.
These elite hunters had only one goal: The destruction of the supernatural. The children of the gods were foremost on their list. The hunters have passed down this goal through the generations, accumulating tricks and tactics to fight the various types of kin.
