Children of the Divine Order
Children of Nut
Characteristics and Aspects
Nut is the goddess of the sky. She was originally the goddess of the nighttime sky, but eventually became referred to as simply the sky goddess.
She was seen as a star-covered nude woman arching over the earth. Nut is also the barrier separating the forces of chaos from the ordered cosmos in the world. She had a variety of titles: ‘Coverer of the Sky’, ‘She Who Protects’, ‘She who Bore the Gods’, ‘She Who Holds a Thousand Souls’.
Nut is a daughter of Shu and Tefnut. Her husband and brother is Geb. She has four children: Osiris, Set, Isis, Nephthys. Nut’s children are blue or black skinned and have eyes filled with stars.
Nut’s children are lighter and more agile than a human of similar proportions. They have access to a variety of magics: Sky, Night (Darkness), Protection, Stars, Life, and Cloaking. Nut’s children follow the Oath of the Veil.
