Children of the Divine Order
Children of Isis
Characteristics and Aspects
Isis was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patroness of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans and the downtrodden, but she also listened to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers. Isis is also known as protector of the dead and goddess of children. She is also a goddess of health, marriage, and wisdom.
Isis was pictured as a woman wearing a long sheath dress and crowned with the hieroglyphic sign for a throne. Sometimes she is depicted as holding a lotus, or as a sycamore tree. Her children look human.
She was the sister-wife of Osiris, sister to Set and Nephthys. She is the daughter of Nut and Geb. She is also considered the mother of Anubis.
The Children of Isis have no physical abilities. They do have many magical ones: Nature, Protection, Death, Health, Healing, Marriage (Blessing), and Wisdom. They also follow the Oath of the Veil.
